Avanti Grange - 6 x Design & Technology Workshops


We were delighted to accept the invitation to tour the newly developed Avanti Grange School in Bishop’s Stortford. During our visit, we were thoroughly impressed by the significant progress made on the school’s Design Technology (DT) wing, where Tilgear is proud to serve as the main supplier.

The DT department will ultimately feature six state-of-the-art rooms, each designed for specialized subjects such as woodwork, electrical engineering, and textiles. This ambitious project is set to provide students with a cutting-edge learning environment, blending traditional skills with modern technology.

While all six rooms are on track to become top-tier facilities, in this update, we’re highlighting the progress of the textiles and electrical rooms, which are already taking shape as standout spaces. The remaining rooms, including woodwork, are still under development but are coming along beautifully.
